Festive Makeup Look
I am one of those weird people that plans their makeup looks like they plan their outfits.
Sometimes things change, but not often. If I know that I am wearing that particular outfit, then I will plan what makeup I am going to wear.
When it comes to Christmas, I want something festive, but not overwhelming. And also easy, I don't want to be spending hours doing my makeup, I just want to be able to do it quickly and then head out the door. This look takes maybe 15 - 20 minutes to do, and is super easy.
For this look I used the Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturiser, I only recently picked this up again, after not having it for around 2 years, but I just remember how good it makes my skin look. It also has a little bit more coverage than my Charlotte Tilbury foundation has.
Then just the usual products used for concealing (Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer) and brows (Benefit Gimme Brow and Good Proof Brow Pencil).
Then for highlight and blush, I used some shades out of the Jaclyn Hill for Becca Champagne Collection palette. I really only use this when I want to look like a disco ball, the highlighters in these are so pigmented I find them a little too intense for everyday use.
For my eyes I used the Charlotte Tilbury Dolce Vita eyeshadow quad. I only used three of the shades for this look. First I swept the base shade over my lid and up to my brow bone. Then using the smoke shade, I blended it through the crease before using my finger and patting on the gold glitter onto my lid. Most people would then add lashings of mascara, I don't only because I'm pretty sure I am allergic to something in it, doesn't matter what mascara, my eyes always end up running when I wear it.
For lips I used the Tanya Burr lipstick in Hot Cocoa, I just tap it on and then pat it in with my finger.
