What's in my holiday makeup bag
I love packing when you're packing it tends to mean you're going on an adventure.
We're heading off on a 20-day Christmas holiday tomorrow. So I thought I would share what I am packing in terms of makeup and skincare. As we're going on a cruise, there will be a few formal nights, and we'll probably get dressed up for dinner most nights as well, so I wanted to make sure I had plenty of options when it came to makeup looks.
So this is what I have packed, but knowing me in my rush to make sure I haven't forgotten anything I will probably add a few more things in.
For base products, I've packed my usual base products. Most of these have been my go-tos for most of the year. The Wowder is a recent addition that I've really been loving, and since we're going to Australia and it's going to be hot, a mattifying powder seemed more appropriate than my glowy Hourglass powder.
The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer
Charlotte Tilbury Youth Boosting Perfect Skin Foundation
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
Glossier Wowder Powder
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray
Two of these products are pretty standard for me, but I have packed the Glossier Cloud Paint in case I don't want too much shimmer on my face. And the Glossier Haloscope for a daytime highlight.
Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow
Nars 'Orgasm' Blush
Glossier 'Quartz' Haloscope
Glossier 'Haze' Cloud Paint
Nothing new in the eyeshadow department. MAC 'Woodwinked' is probably my all time favourite shadow, it's just so easy, I just pack it on my lid, blend it out and then I'm done. Then the Marc Jacobs palette I got in August and it's incredible, super pigmented shadows, beautiful colours, really easy to blend and work with.

MAC 'Woodwinked' Eye Shadow
Benefit Goof Proof Brow Pencil
Benefit Gimme Brow
For lips, I've packed two lipsticks, but will probably end up either forgoing lip products altogether or just using the balm most of the time. The balm dotcom has been my favourite Glossier product since I got my order, and I absolutely adore the minty flavour. I've packed a Clinique small lip pop lipstick in a sheer red shade, and Tanya Burr's Pink Cocoa as a nude.
