How I got Glossier to New Zealand
Glossier seems to be everywhere at the moment, but considering they've just launched into the UK and released a fragrance, it really is no surprise.
My Glossier order arrived last week. Glossier doesn't actually ship to New Zealand, but by using New Zealand Post's YouShop service I managed to bring some products in. For this particular order, I chose to get more of the makeup products than skincare. I'm quite happy with my skincare routine at the moment and didn't want to change anything, but a few of the makeup products appealed to me and filled gaps that I had.
Using Youshop is a pretty easy and seamless process, the only annoying thing is that it can take a while to get your packages to New Zealand. But there really is no other way to get these brands here.
I picked up the Wowder in Light/Medium, Balm Dotcom in Mint, Cloud Paint in Haze, and Haloscope in Quartz.
So far the balm dotcom is what I have been really loving. The minty flavour is almost refreshing on the lips and when you put it on it kind of makes your lips tingle a little bit, its amazing. While being nourishing and doing everything you want from a lip balm.
I haven't put the other makeup bits to a real test yet. But I did swipe Haloscope on my bare face just to see what it looked like. I have no idea how they did it, it just gives the skin a glow, that is so beautiful, no glitter involved. I also tried out Cloud Paint on the back of my hand, Haze is a beautiful berry shade, but it's quite sheer and blended out fabulously on the back of my hand. I've not tried Wowder, but the packaging is very practical, with the little mesh, trampoline to help stem the flow of the product coming out.
I have my eye on a few more products from Glossier including the Priming Moisturiser, Milky Jelly Cleanser, the masks and the Stretch Concealer and will absolutely be putting in another order in the new year.
