Hello.

My name is Tayla and this is where I document my adventures in studying, travel, beauty, food and maybe a little bit of style. Happy reading.

Check In: Palazzo Versace

Exudes luxury. Palazzo Versace is the most extravagant hotel on the Gold Coast.

We stayed in a garden view room, really this just meant that we didn't have a view of the pool, instead we looked over onto the road. However being by the road didn't disturb us at all.

Upon entering the room there is a wardrobe to the left and a bathroom to the right. Continuing on you make it to the living room, where there is a table and chairs, a desk, and a sofa that can be made into a bed. Through the double doors is the master suite, which had a giant bed, two wardrobes, and an ensuite with a bath.

The pool area was simply beautiful. While it was the most modern part of the hotel, somehow it managed to blend in beautifully with the rest of the hotel. The pool is a bit of a funny shape, as it follows the shape of the hotel. There is the main section of the pool area, which has plenty of day beds and sun loungers, this is also the main entrance to the pool itself through the little beach. However to the right of that, is the adults only section, where day beds line the side of the pool. These day beds have to be booked out in advance. The pool area also has a bar where you can order both drinks and food.

The hotel offers a range of eateries and has a buffet restaurant, a lobby bar, where you can also order dinner, and the Vie bar, which has the most amazing pate you will ever eat in your life.

The hotel is also home to a Versace store which is accessible to anyone through the hotel, a salon, and a spa.

This hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were lovely and so accommodating. Our stay (both times) was perfect.
